Flagship CMS – Digital Signage System Brochure Design

Flagship CMS, a digital signage content management system based in Austin, Texas, required marketing collateral to communicate their specialized A/V control solutions to commercial clients. The company serves A/V professionals with a platform that combines digital signage CMS functionality with advanced monitoring, diagnostics, and control capabilities for clients including Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.

The Challenge The project involved creating a digital brochure that would effectively present Flagship CMS’s technical capabilities and service offerings to A/V industry professionals. Working with an existing brand kit as foundation, the design needed to communicate complex technical features including centralized project management, advanced monitoring systems, and customizable client experiences while maintaining accessibility for the target professional audience.

The Solution Using Adobe Illustrator, I developed a digital brochure design that organized Flagship CMS’s key features and benefits into a clear, professional format. The design process involved adapting the existing brand guidelines to create a cohesive editorial layout that could communicate technical concepts like ShowCTRL dynamic content management, A/V network monitoring, and centralized project documentation systems.

As one of my first editorial design projects, the work focused on establishing clear information hierarchy and visual flow while working within the constraints of Adobe Illustrator rather than dedicated publishing software. The design approach prioritized content organization and brand consistency to support the company’s positioning in the commercial A/V market.

The Impact The completed brochure provided Flagship CMS with marketing material that presented their digital signage platform and technical capabilities in an organized, professional format suitable for their A/V industry clientele.
