Hey there! My name is Martin Malandra. I offer web development and graphic design services to marketing and design agencies around the globe.
It started quietly in 2022, with a few online courses while I was still studying Industrial Engineering. The first freelance clients came not long after, and so did the realisation that engineering was pulling me away from the thing I'd rather be doing. So I left it and went all in on design.
That's when I hit the actual ceiling. I could build a site, but I was reaching the edge of what I could decide — the calls that come before the build. Web design had led me to graphic design, and graphic design is what I needed to learn properly. That's why I enrolled in Digital Graphic Design at Da Vinci School of Multimedia Arts in Buenos Aires.
From there it kept widening. Motion graphics came first, through After Effects. 3D is what I'm learning now — not something I'd claim to have mastered yet, but it's where I'm putting my time. The goal is simple: when an agency sends over a project, fewer pieces of it need to go to someone else.
Most of my work happens behind the scenes: agencies bring me in as production support, and their clients (almost) never hear my name. When it helps to join a call, I'm there.
Working across time zones means the process carries the weight. I work async by default, send updates at milestones, and keep a staging link open so there's never a question about where a project stands.
